If I could go back I would.

What day would I pick?

That seems like it should be a hard decision, there are so many.

But I know. I’d pick a day where it was just the two of us.

On our way to one of my soccer games.

You’d stop and get me a gatorade with the twist top, “It’s easier to drink” you’d say.

You’d tell me to “take the ball down the field and shoot on the goal.”

Laughing as you said this. Some inside joke that brought you joy.

Sometimes if we were early you’d leave again.

To surprise me after my game with a power bar. They were always kind of gross but I ate them willingly, I would again if I could.

If I won you would take me to ice cream, if I lost you’d take me to ice cream.

You never judged but gave advice and told me how to get better.

I wish I could go back to that and listen to you say “Sissy” once more.
